Dylan R. Woods

Dylan Woods’s path to law began in high school with a clear sense of purpose: using his skills and talents to benefit society. While interested in science and history, he recognized that law would provide the most meaningful way to make a positive impact. This led him to pursue history in college as preparation for law school, building a foundation that serves him well in legal practice today.
Currently, Dylan focuses his practice on several key areas that align with his commitment to serving the community. As general counsel and litigation counsel for local governments, he helps municipalities accomplish their goals while ensuring they operate transparently and within legal bounds. He also maintains significant practices in real property (both transactions and disputes), civil litigation, business formation and transactions, and providing ongoing business advice to clients throughout the area.
Known for his calm demeanor and analytical mind, Dylan begins every matter by working with clients to clearly define the problem and desired outcome. His approachable communication style makes clients comfortable sharing sensitive information, while his skill at asking clarifying questions helps uncover crucial details that might otherwise be overlooked. When facing complex situations, he applies strategic thinking by working backward from the desired outcome to develop clear strategies that manage complexity while driving toward achievable goals.
Dylan’s levelheaded analysis, combined with his ability to build good rapport with both clients and opposing counsel, often facilitates more effective negotiations and case resolution. He educates clients about their options, explaining potential paths forward along with the advantages, disadvantages, and likelihood of success for each approach.
Though Dylan didn’t originally have ties to Evergreen, he has grown both professionally and personally with the community since joining his firm. He regularly presents real estate seminars to local realtors groups and has made his home in nearby Morrison with his wife and three young children, who attend local schools. When not practicing law, the family enjoys hiking and working toward their goal of developing a mini homestead.
Dylan is committed to serving both his clients and the Evergreen community, striving to ensure that every client receives the best representation possible, regardless of the outcome of their case.
